Great example of woodcut process. #REPOST @printsandprintmaking with @get__repost__app Since the 1990s, the isolated figure has been a recurrent subject in Rick Amor’s enigmatic cityscapes. As though pulled from a dystopian film set, Amor presents Australian cities as ominous, dark and desolate places. Like much of Amor’s work, this woodcut ‘The World of Men’, is pictorially grounded in the Western art tradition of strong linear perspective.
